Forge welding
Forge-welded Yanagi blade knives with deep rust on the whole
Both front and back are mirror-finished.

Rust can be seen on the whole area as well.
It is a cutting knife.
I removed the rust and reshaped it to make it a mirror surface.
◆木砥仕上げの研磨例
新品の包丁に良く行われている仕上げ方法です。
平部分は斜めに刃は縦に研磨します。
◆霞仕上げの研磨例
刃が白くなり霞がかかったような仕上がりです。こちらの画像では平を木砥で仕上げておりますが鏡面研磨を行うことも可能です。
